WHAT TO EXPECT AT A MEETING

A Sex Addicts Anonymous meeting consists of a group of two or more individuals who – using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of SAA – meet together regularly for the purpose of recovering from their compulsive sexual behavior. An SAA meeting is a safe place. It is a gathering of equals who keep confidences, refrain from judgement, and who support one another through sharing their experience, strength and hope in seeking the common goal of recovering from sexual addiction.

COVID

As of 4/12/2022, some meetings are offering Zoom access, while others are offering only an in-person option (and still others are hybrid). See below for details about each meeting’s format.

NOTE

All Lexington SAA meetings are designated as CLOSED, meaning they are only open to those who have or think they may have a problem with sex addiction.  Our meetings are open to men and women; persons of any gender or sexual preference are welcome.

You are welcome to call or text any of the contacts for the meetings. If you do call, please leave a voicemail as many people screen out unknown numbers. Simply leave your first name and number and mention SAA and the person will get back to you soon.

The meeting is held in the main church building, which has a covered driveway in front. Here are the steps to enter the building:

  • Ring the doorbell to the right of the door and say you’re here for a meeting.
  • Once you are buzzed in, do not let anyone else in behind you unless they’re there for the meeting; ask that they ring for themselves.
  • Enter the building and turn left to find the elevator on the left.
  • Take the elevator to 2U.
  • Turn right out of the elevator and continue straight to room 206.
  • Masks are optional once you are in the meeting room.
